• Pasting from Microsoft Word (Friday, January 27, 2012)
  

  PASTING FROM MICROSOFT WORD INTO BLACKBOARD... Did you know that pasting directly from Microsoft Word can create display problems in Internet Explorer? This has a very easy fix! There is an option in the Blackboard text editor that allows you to paste from Word. This option removes the Microsoft code that causes the problem. Just click on the icon pictured in the image on the right (it's in row three of the toolbar) and choose the Paste from Word option.

• Restoring the course menu (Monday, January 23, 2012)
  

  WHAT DO I DO IF MY COURSE MENU DISAPPEARS? You enter your course and discover that the menu has disappeared. The only area of the course that you can access is the Announcements section. This has a very easy fix! There is a button in your Blackboard course that allows you to hide the menu so that you have more room to explore the content area. To restore the menu, click the arrow pictured to the right. It will open your menu so that you once again have access to the other areas of your course.

  PROTECT YOUR LOGIN INFORMATION... This is a reminder to never share your Blackboard login information with anyone. Do not provide your login information to anyone who requests it via email or any other means. This will help keep your login information secure. CHANGE YOUR PASSWORD... Remember to change your password the first time you log into Blackboard. Follow these steps to do this: Log into Blackboard. Click the Personal Information link. (This is illustrated in the image on the right.) On the Personal Information page, click the Change Password link. On the Change Password page, enter your new password in both text fields. Click the Submit button.

  WINTER AND SPRING 2012 PAYMENT DEADLINES Term Payment Deadline Winter 2012 Payment in full due by Tuesday 1-3-12 Spring 2012 Registration payment deadline for returning students is Tuesday 1-17-12. Registration payment deadline for NEW students is Wednesday 1-25-12.

  SEMINARY POLICY ON REFUND OF TUITION FOR COURSES DROPPED  (*most fees are non-refundable) 100% Credit deadline will be Friday, 1-27-12 (first full week of class) 50% Credit deadline will be Friday, 2-17-12. (fourth full week of class) Full payment will be required for courses dropped after this date.
